Ok it has been way too long since we posted....I wish I had the time and more importantly the talent to have and keep up with a beautiful, meaningful blog, but nonetheless, I am giving myself brownie points for effort today! :) We have been quite a busy family lately. I survived my first year as a middle school science teacher (just barely, lol) and despite budget cuts across our school district am very excited that I will be staying at Travis Middle School for another year and will now be teaching 6th grade. I also just completed teaching a week long NASA Summer of Innovation Girls Camp which I thoroughly enjoyed. Here is a video of the camp that I made for the students/parents:
I had an awesome group of girls and wish that all students had the desire to learn these girls have.....what an inspiration!! I even had three girls that were chosen from applicants all over the valley to visit the NASA Glenn Research Center in Ohio on July 17th....way to go girls!!
